Are Ikea Vesla boxes sturdy?

Would they work for storing bulky toddler toys in? Would they stand up to toddler abuse?

my 5 y o DD decided to get in one and pretend it was a sled and ride down a flight of stairs into a wall and the box was intact afterward (so was DD - the drywall- not so much!)

Sounds like just the type of scenario I was envisioning! Are they big enough to store Little Peole things? I'm thinking of things like the bus, plane,etc.

I bought these several months ago and they're definitely sturdy. I'm not worried about them breaking. The FP bus fits inside, not sure about the airplane or both together (we only have the bus).

It's a nice storage box. They're easy to get into and easy to stack.
