Default Now off to a breast surgeon

Okay, so I was having all this discharge from the breasts, went to gyn, they did cultures, mammogram etc. Everything came out just fine. She told me to wait and see and call if anything changed or the discharge did not stop in 4 weeks.

Suddenly, over the last few days one side has stopped the discharge and the other has enlarged a lot and is very, very painful with slightly different discharge. Called the Gyn, was told they would set me up with a referral to a breast surgeon next week. Arggg. I am in pain and frustrated. Google tells me nothing.

Hope you take this the right way, but here is hoping it is *just* and infection of some sort and you are fine after a regimen of antibiotics. Keep us informed, you are in my prayers!

(((((((hugs))))))) Did your dr. give any ideas for what it could be? I would be hesitant google much because the options could be benign (infection or cyst) or potentialy very, very scary (IBC).
