Shameless brag
I started doing Taekwondo two months ago. DS has been taking it for over a year and studio also offers family classes as well, so we can work out at the same time (= don't need to pay a sitter or have DH around). I tested a week ago and am now an orange belt . Skipped yellow belt.
All my friends say I lost weight even though in reality I only lost a pound or two. My lower body is definitely more toned and my back does not hurt any more. I definitely recommend martial arts for people who hate exercising for the sake of exercising. This type of exercise is also great for releasing stress.
