How do you keep the baby from getting sweaty and miserable when held against your chest? My 4wk old wakes up hot and bothered after a short time in the Ergo (with the infant insert.)

I couldn't so I switched to a Moby wrap until we could use the Ergo without the insert. Those inserts are pretty thick!

Same here. We ended up selling the infant insert because DS was born in the heat of the summer and it was too hot. We actually had a Beco Butterfly II and an Organic Ergo. The Beco wasn't hot and the infant insert was built in so we used that for the first 6 months and then we got the Performance Ergo for the hot summer months.

Unfortunately we still get hot and sweaty without the infant insert in the Ergo.
