    Default Vitamins/Energy Drinks Please share

Just curious what vitamins and or energy stuff people use for everyday and working out. I run quite a bit and have never taken anything.

why do you need an energy drink? Are you tired? My DH is working a lot and cramming for an upcoming exam, so he is drinking 5 hour energy when he feels he needs it.

Spirutein energy shake. Delicious! Non dairy and I feel so much better when I have one each day.

Curious, what's this? Is it a mix or do you make it yourself?

    I like Emergen-C. It's not just C, great for post-workout, too.

I don't do an energy drink but I sometimes take a protien supplement (whey protien). I think it's ultimately better.

For heavy workouts I always did some form of Gatorade.........now I usually do a Sobee Lite Water.
I do the Emergen C drinks too (mixed with a bottle of water)....but usually save it for when I start to feel like I'm coming down with something, or I'm trying to keep the DC/DH germs away.

Chocolate milk! It sounds strange, but it was suggested in a fitness magazine as a good choice due to the combination of sugar, protein and fat.
