    Default Covering Cable Jack Outlet

We have two cable jack outlets that are not being used and I can not find any type of cover for these. Help, does anyone know where to get one?

My cable jack outlets are the ones that are a small round cynlinder that stick out about 1/2 inch from the wall.

Have you taken the outlet cover off and seen what's behind there? It might just be a regular male-ended cable that's plugged into a dual-female outlet (one female fitting inside the wall, one outside the wall). I hope I made sense there!

If it is like that, you can just unscrew the cable from the outlet and replace the cover with a solid one.

Otherwise, they do make plugs for those outlets:

A little late to this, but I took off the cover and slid a little piece of cardboard in there right behind the hole. There was some space in mine between the cover and the actual mechanics if you cut the cardboard skinny enough to slide in.
