    Default reusing bottle nipples?

My DD will be 3 when baby #2 is born. Can I use the same nipples (after sterilizing) or do I need to buy a whole new set?? Do they get bad after 3 years?

I used the Playtex drop in so I'm not worried about the bottle itself since I'll be buying new bags. But was wondering about whether I need to replace the nipples.

I'm in the same position as you. I replaced all of mine. I guess if you didn't really use the nipples that much, you could keep them. But we used ours pretty extensively. Plus, plastic wears down after awhile. I went through all of mine last night and only kept the ones that weren't used the first time around.

We replaced all our silicone nipples for DD. I had cleaned them well and sterilized then before storing them. But they looked yellowed and gross when we took them out, so I threw them away. My DC are 2 1/2 years apart.

We replaced them even though we only had 18m between DC. We kept a few as back ups in the diaper bag, in the car, etc.
