I had my 12-week nuchal translucency yesterday and while the Down Syndrome and Trisomy 18/13 percentages are quite low my PAPP-A is .20. This came as a total surprise and I am trying to completely understand what this means. I have read several articles about it online and understand that it can be associated with some very adverse outcomes. But has anyone had this and had a healthy baby? If so, did you carry full term? It seems scary and there is nothing that can be done at this point of course to assure me that everything will be ok. It's a waiting game. On the bright side the baby looks good so far and is growing. The u/s tech said it looks like a little boy!!
