Bottle nipple question

I want to replace the bottle nipples for DC2, but want to change from the regular nipples to wide nipples. Will the wide nipples fit the standard bottles? Do I need new bottles completely? Just new tops for the bottles? Or can I just replace the regular nipples with the wide nipples without issue? FWIW, I predominately used Playtex Ventaire bottles with DC1. TIA!

Basically, you have two options... Buying all new bottles, or some nipples are "standard" size, but have a little wider base. Medela makes some that are considered standard sized, but have a little wider base to them. However, I'm really assuming you are meaning wide ones like the for the disposable playtex style bottles, right? In that case, yes, you will need new bottles, the nipples and rings won't fit on standard sized bottles.
