If you have a large sandbox

in your yard, do your DC cart the sand all over the rest of the yard? Has it ruined your grass? TIA

We have a large sandbox on our patio, not on our grass. My younger son (2) does move sand out of the sandbox, but is getting better about not doing it. My 4 year-old knows he is supposed to keep sand in the sandbox. Can't comment about the grass, since he usually dumps it into other areas of the patio.

Someone is usually pouring a little cup of sand on the grass, and the grass doesn't fare well when it has become very sandy. Playmates usually do it to, so it's hard when they don't know the rule to keep the sand in the sandtable.

Yes my 2yo dumps cups of sand around but haven't seen any changes in the grass. We've only had it since the beginning of summer so maybe it hasn't been long enough or maybe it takes more than a cup to do some damage. She rarely dumps in the same place over and over.
