    Default vulvar varicose veins....

I have this weird discomfort/pain in the vulva (cannot exactly tell the location), and yesterday I took a mirror and as far as I could see down there, I saw really swollen veins on the inner labia, which I am guessing are vulvar varicose veins.

I understand this is a pregnancy thing, but I am wondering what I can do to get some relief? Would cool witch hazel pads help? Any type of underwear that would be better?

    TIA.

Staying off your feet as much as possible
    Wearing a under-belly support belt or "Prenatal-Cradle"
    Not being constipated
There are cool gel packs that you can wear in your underwear--Feels soooo good!

My OB said make sure not to wear any tight or restrictive clothing in the groin area. Cool packs or witch hazel compresses did help some too.

My OB thought I was nuts when I mentioned this. She was like no, u don't have that, and I said yes, I do. Its like a hemoroid, and witch hazel helps. Hope u find relief.
