Hi,
DS just turned two and I bought him a helmet. The kid has a big head (takes after his dad) and the helmet I got says for ages 3 up. Does it matter that he is two and not three if the helmet fits him well?.... Thanks, I know it is probably a dumb question, but since it is safety gear, I figured I would make sure.

Both boys were in age 3+ helmets before they were 3. I expect it is for choking hazards. So um don't let him chew on the loose parts of the helmet
