    Default playing whack-a-mole today

that's what it feels like i'm doing with the kids' naps today. as soon as i manage to get one down, the other springs right up! bleh. it doesn't happen everyday, maybe every 1-2 days but when it does, it's downright exhausting!!

i have other parents always tell me that i should sync up their naps. believe me, that would be ideal, and i would LOVE for that to happen but i have a hard time getting my DD to nap as it is, let alone at a specific time!

How are you supposed to sync up naps for kids those ages??? Sprog's nap schedule was totally different at those ages.

If anybody told me that, I'd invite them over to demonstrate...

how would you sync them up?? The best you could hope for is that the tail end of your DS's nap overlaps with part of your DD's afternoon nap.

That's frustrating But it won't last forever!

and at the last part.indeed that was my first thought too!

and yes, it does seem unrealistic...DS is now on a pretty good 1-nap a day schedule (1:30-3:30).but it took ~16 months to get there! He didn't even have a regular napping schedule until he was 8 months old.

indeed the most i could hope is that DD naps a second time in the afternoon, and that it overlaps a decent amount with DS's nap. but right now, getting DD to nap is a struggle...often times she will nap from say 9-12:30, and then she will not nap for longer than 20 minutes afterwards.
