    Default natural remedies for PMS/moody?

    is there anything you know that works or you have taken for PMS. Just not patient like I used to be around that time of the month

    I have read recommendations for B vitamins and cal/mag. You could also look at Omega 3s/EFAs. I think my mom did well with EPO.

    thank you. I take 1000mg of nordics omega 3. silly ? what is EPO?

    Not silly. EPO=evening primrose oil.

    eta: many women have low D levels (I was one of them, despite taking 2000 iu/day for a few years before getting tested, which is more than most women take). There are some links between low D and PMS. It might be worth looking into getting your levels tested and supplementing as appropriate.

    You should see my nightstand

    I echo what others have said: Evening Primrose Oil, B-12 (you can get a tablet of just this or just chug an Emergen-C in the morning!), & Vitamin D. You can usually find sales at CVS or Kroger for BOGO on Vitamins/Supplements.

    I noticed a big difference in pms/moodiness after taking vitamin d. I was vit d deficient and didn't know it.
