    I really like the MA dolls from TRUs as they have several different ethnicities, including a really cute redhead. I've seen many of them around the beginning of the year clearanced at $19.98.

    It looks like maybe MA dolls are being replaced by Journey Girls that sell at $29.99. I don't know anything about them except they look more modern/hip.

    My sister got my niece the knockoff doll from Target - the My/Our Generation and they really like it.
    A, mom to Ethan age 5.5 and L age 2

    There were 2 Madame Alexander doll versions on clearance at my Target. This was one
