So I have been using the ovulation kits and know for sure that my LH surge was July 12 and we DTD several days before and the day of so...

My question is when should I test because my cycles are kind of wonky so I don't necessarily know when my period should start.

You can start testing as early as 10 days after ovulation, but if it's positive it will be super super faint. I had a positive at 10 dpo, but it was extremely difficult to see. By 14 dpo a postive should be easy to see. So you can start testing as early as July 22nd, but don't get bummed if you don't see anything till closer to July 26th. Eat some pineapple in the meantime-- it's supposed to help with implantation! Good luck!
