    Default Sidewalk Chalk?

Does anyone know if Sidewalk Chalk stains natural stone? I'd like to get some for DC, but the only place to use it at our house is on our stone patio and I do NOT want that stained. Thanks!

We've got both stone and concrete and I've never noticed any staining from sidewalk chalk, but it might depend on the stone?

Great! Thanks for the feedback. It will be nice to have another option for creative outdoor play besides painting!

After the kids are done chalk drawing, I give my girls a bowl of water and some larger-sized paint brushes. They then go over the pictures with water and pretend they are painting. The water causes the chalk color to smooth out. Good way to extend the chalk playing time.
    Thanks,
