I forgot to add that while the last 15 minutes or so was pure torture that I was not mentally or physically prepared for, and at any moment during that 15 minutes I would have traded the fast, med-free labor for a long medicated one, my recovery was great! I was up and walking around within an hour. Of course part of that was also that I didn't have a massive episiotomy like last time, but still the difference was amazing.

What an amazing story! Congrats!
Congratulations! I pushed for 20 minutes (I had arrived 8 hrs. earlier, but labor was slow and easy to deal with up until I hit about 8 cms an hour before pushing) with DD2 and it was the best feeling ever although it was painful I was soo happy to have her out that it made up for everything.

Hehehe...DS arrived 1 hr after leaving our house. Unfortunately since my contractions were so erratic in both length and time between, we actually went to the clinic first (at the instruction of the dr/nurse on call). When I got there I was 10 cm and they made me take an ambulance to the hospital. I think I had DS within 15 or 20 min of arriving at the hospital.
My doctor's request for #2...please come in sooner!
I told him at least this time if I show up to the clinic, they can just wheel me to the hospital since they've merged into one facility now!
Congrats! It is pretty crazy, but I will say that it was nice to not have to labor in the hospital at all!
Yay! Congratulations!!
