I was up and walking around within an hour. Of course part of that was also that I didn't have a massive episiotomy like last time, but still the difference was amazing.

    Congrats!!

And even though I was physically and mentally prepared for no meds, the last minutes before pushing are so, so hard!! I was doing great with ds2- totally zen like. Then all of a sudden I wanted to claw out of my body or run away. Then it was over. For me it was darned satisfying to endure that. Felt like superwoman after both births.

Congratulations!! My sister was born 16 minutes after arrival at the hospital. My mom swears she thought she was going to have her in the parking lot!

Wow, congrats! If I ever had to have a hospital birth, that's exactly how I would want it to be! Yeah for a super fast recovery-- that's the better part about having an unmedicated birth!

That's an exciting birth story!! I'm wishing that my 2nd labor would go the same way. Like you I had DS1 with pitocin and an epidural, am hoping this next one will be fast and spend as little time in the hospital as possible. Yay you!! Congrats on your healthy baby
