Default Update in OP Toys for a 6 month old

I went with my initial thought, that was well supported here, and just ordered the Leap Frog table. Thanks!!

I want to buy my close friend's ds a new toy. He is about to be 6m and I was looking to spend $40-50. My first thoughts were:

    The Leap Frog music table

    Fisher Price mini workbench:

    Fisher Price mailbox:

    Fisher Price kitchen:

    Fisher Price barn:

Only hesitation on the barn is the size. They have a pretty small house.

My ds2 loved his music table and got a ton of use out of it so that is why it 1st came to mind first. I always liked those mini kitchens and workbenches too.

What else should I consider? Or which of those should I pick?

    Thanks!!

DD2 got the kitchen for christmas and she loves it! Even DD1 helps her play with it. I like how compact it is, yet can be used on all sides (inside and out)!

DS is 9 months and LOVES our music table. When I'm holding him and bring him over to it, he kicks his legs and waves his arms and gets all excited. We have the Leapfrog one at home; I gave the FP one to my parents to have at their house (I actually like that one a bit better because you can detach the legs and just have the table part sit on the floor when they're too young to stand up against it). For some reason the salesperson at TRU said that they sell a bit more of the Leapfrog ones, though.

    Anyhow, that's my vote...

I'd go with the music table.

Another vote for the music table! 6 month old DS is already playing with DD's, and it's 3 years old. We have the FP one though.
