I am thinking of purchasing the M&D art easel

any feedback - good or bad? anyone use it? have a different easel to recommend?

I spent quite a bit of money on an expensive easel for ds. He used it about ten times. I sold it for next to nothing at a garage sale.

I would go with the ikea easel if I had it to do over.

The M&D easel is one of the most used and loved toy purchases in our home. We bought ours at holiday 08 and it's been used and used and used these past 3 years and I think we'll get years more out of it. I got it for $25 during the amazon toy deals but it would totally have been worth it at full price. We had it in a small 850 sq ft apt and it folded up neatly against the wall, but if you're even more strapped for space then consider the ikea. Otherwise, get the M&D. Highly recommended.

We love the IKEA easel and paper that goes with it.

We really like our M&D easel. We use the Ikea paper with it and it works well.

We keep our M&D easel in the kitchen and my boys (3 and 18 months) use it a lot. I don't have an ikea so use the M&D paper, but I found it on sale in a 3 pack on Amazon and stocked up. I think it was well worth the money.
