    Default DS needs stroller toys!

My DS is 8.5 months old and goes on walks in his stroller a few times a day. He has lots of toys at home, but they are not really a good fit for being stroller toys because he would just throw them on the ground. Funny story highlighting the crux of the issue -- I saw that a friend of mine gave her DS (same age) an egg shaker when she was pushing him in the stroller...I laughed and showed her our egg shaker that was sitting in the basket underneath the stroller. DS loves throwing things and has a very curious/active temperament. In any case, attaching toys with links doesn't always work either because he manages to tear them off, and just a chain of links by themselves is quite boring at this point. If it makes a difference at all, our stroller is a Bumbleride Indie. If anyone could recommend some age-appropriate toys that DS would enjoy playing with and not be able to easily throw on the ground, I would be most appreciative!

    A toy strap might work-

We just tied a ribbon arond sophie, an oball, teethers, etc. Sometimes I clip the loop on DS' Hello-a-phone (http://www.amazon.com/B-Hellophone-R...1429614&sr=8-3) to his straps.
"Someday, I am going to go to bed without toys on the floor and sippys in my sink. Things will stay where I put them and I can have nice, fragile items on display. But when I do, I will look around with a wistfullness in my heart and miss the days where vibrant imaginations ran wild and there was evidence of life happening around me all the time!"
