    Default Waffle Blocks?

Thinking about getting these for DD. How much weight will they hold? Will they stand up to her climbing on them?

I would say no. Those look more like a building toy than a climbing toy.

They are a building toy, but they're the greatest building toy ever! My younger sister had them. I remember thinking they were awesome at age 13! We built forts, crawl spaces, all manner of things. They got use for years and years in our house. They don't stand up to climbing, but they're sturdy enough and give way quickly--as in no one's getting very far off the floor before they collapse anyhow. Would think they're appropriate from age four or so. Thanks for reminding me of these! They're awesome!

Zulily had Brik a Blok on their sales last week for I think around $130 for 46. It is no longer available, but you might check these out to see if you can get a bargain. They are very similar type toys. http://www.amazon.com/Brik---Blok-Se...5323401&sr=8-1
