I'm so sorry I was also close to my grandmother and was heartbroken when she passed. I hope you can find some peace and share in her love with your family. Maybe down the road you can plant something in Her honor. My grandmother loved yellow roses and my mom bought and planted me a yellow rosebush. I only get 2-3 blooms a year, but it makes me smile every I see those yellow buds. P&PT for you and your family.

I am so so sorry for your loss. I was very close with my grandmother and her loss was hard for me. She was in a lot of pain the last time I saw her, so I was comforted to know that she went to a better place.
I still think of her often & talk to her. I don't think the loss goes away but it gets less painful & more bearable. Hugs.

Thank you so much for the support. I feel like a zombie, but I'm sure it will pass. I decided to work on a photo book for DS with pictures of his great and great great grandparents so he will always know their stories.

So, so sorry. There's nothing to say to make it hurt less, but in time, I always try to remind myself of the fullness of my loved one's life, the things they got to enjoy or accomplish, and the love they leave behind.
