9/19/2011 Clean Sweep

List the items you're going to do around the house this week. Post back when you've completed them.

It doesn't have to be a huge list or involved tasks.

For this week:
outdoor task
Clean out the patio box that has old toys in it that are no longer used. Put the patio furniture cushions in the box. We're hoping we'll use the furniture more if it's not such a PITA to get the cushions from the garage.

House tasks
shred the bag of paperwork that was in my closet.
Call the furnace co. to do the annual maintenance.
Send BIL's birthday present (REI gift card)
Organize babysitter for upcoming events.
Returns to Zappos, REI and Patagonia

Here are my things:
pick up DD's room with her
organize my closet

That's going to be it.

ETA: I'm changing mine already! I'll keep this list as my wish list. But what I'll really do:
sort receipts for the PTO so I can get reimbursed
send in a package of Labels for Education
get my new chore box ready so I can keep cleaning organized
find my 3-hole punch so I can get all the school stuff filed.

I really need all those things done before I can do much of anything else, project wise.

1) sell a stroller (hope I do this!)
2) finish cleaning the guest room for soon-to-be arriving guests!

- organize my dresser drawers, purge items that no longer fit
- fold (again!!!) and put away clean laundry from 3 weeks ago that has already been rifled through
- put away summer clothes

I just want to say "WHHOOO HOOO" because I got the two biggest headaches (the library and 3rd BR) organized and cleaned today. I can't believe it! I even took pictures, lol.

I have only three more rooms to organize (breakfast, dining, and sun) and then I can start actually *cleaning*.


Now, if I could only get our MBR suite wood stripped, and all the furniture put where it should be, my house would be on its way. I can just taste the space and lack of crowded feeling....
