I was kind of hoping to be getting rid of our big plastic Barbie dollhouses that were garage sale finds from MIL that seemed to not being played with but as my youngest got older my girls are now playing with them non-stop (in the LR of course), so I am thinking maybe I will replace them with one nicer looking wooden-ish one?
The set up: Girls are 3 and 8 - my 8 year old had NO interest in dolls but the girls play together a lot and my 3 year old loves dolls and so they now play Barbies all the time. My 8 year old actually plays "animals/vet" really with her horses, M&D barn, schleich animals and Barbie pets and DD3 plays more with the dolls/Disney Princess "Barbies", but it all goes together. Also I am stuck on gift ideas so need to buy something...sad, huh?
Maybe Santa will bring one so Grandma doesn't get too mad at Mom
Should I get one or are they all ugly/the same?
Any suggestions on style, brand, model?

costco has a huge kidcraft one and amazon had one on sale recently too...
