    there are very few words that make me cringe and this one is on that list.

    Yes, I know what it is. I learned in the junior high/high school age.

    I learned it my freshman year of college, when I was 17, and I would rather not have known.

    I don't think it's an appropriate thread title, either. Sorry to be a prude.

    ETA: I don't mind it as a poll topic; I just don't like that it's right there out in the title.

    i learned what it was my first year of college. There was an actually article about it in the university newspaper (in the sex column), describing what it was, and it mentioned it's also called a "vart." LOL. Of course, I went to UC Berkeley...i learned about all kinds of stuff there...

    Go Bears! Although I didn't learn it at Cal. I can't remember where, but I think it was in the 90s. I have never used it in a sentence.
