Default Help find DD a dress for family pictures.

    I'm wearing this sweater

    http://m.oldnavy.gap.com/product.htm...=1&pdn=oc20408

with dark skinny jeans and boots.

    DH is wearing this sweater

    http://m.oldnavy.gap.com/product.htm...=1&pdn=oc63315

    over this shirt

    http://m.oldnavy.gap.com/product.htm...d=1&pdn=oc5259

    with khaki pants.

    DS1 is wearing this sweater

    http://m.oldnavy.gap.com/product.htm...d=1&pdn=oc5259

with khakis or jeans, and DS2 is wearing this sweater

    http://m.oldnavy.gap.com/product.htm...=1&pdn=oc45887

    with khakis.

Yes, we're a walking Old Navy ad.

So what should DD wear? Ideally I'd like her in yellow, but that yellow on my sweater and DS2's sweater is difficult to match...it's more of a mustard. I'd originally ordered this dress

    http://m.oldnavy.gap.com/product.htm...d=1&pdn=oc6269

but it was all wrong. So...navy or cream sweater dress? Any chance of me finding the perfect yellow dress out there somewhere? I even thought about ordering another sweater like mine and having a dress made for her out of it, but I wasn't sure how difficult that would be or if that would be too matchy. Any thoughts on that idea?

DD wears a size 12 months.

The biggest mistake I made is the one that most of us make...I did not live in the moment enough. I wish I had not been in such a hurry to get on to the next thing: dinner, bath, book bed. I wish I had treasured the doing a little more and the getting it done a little less. - Anna Quindlen

Just had lunch with a birthday girl whose family had portraits done this morning. She was wearing this cream Gap sweater dress with an etsy flower in the coordinating color tacked onto it. Very cute.

target has cream sweater dresses as well. I like the idea of tacking on a matching pin in the mustard color, plus a hairbow

What about a navy sweater dress and yellow tights?

I am LOVING the idea of the cream sweater dress with a coordinating pin! That is pure genius, and I wish I would have thought of it. Would have made my life much easier when doing pictures. I am adding this to my list of "things to remember for next time".

I love this idea. There was a similar sweater dress at the Gap outlet (was there on Sunday) for a lower price.

If you could find a navy sweater dress and coordinate with a yellow hair accessory, that would look great too without being too matchy.
