The animals are a ton of fun. Highly recommend.

My cart is stuffed as well. Trying to decide what to pull the trigger on.

So I contacted Amazon to see if I could get a price adjustment on the solar system. It's not much but I was considering buying on for my nephew as well and it would make it better. Anyway, I did online chat and asked for a one-time adjustment and was told Amazon never does. I have heard this before but told him I have received adjustments in the past so clearly it's not "never". He said he could only offer me a $5 promotional credit. I tried to explain I just wanted $3 but he said that was all he could do for me. Anyway, just wanted to share in case anyone else was trying to get the reduced price!

I bought ours on Amazon for $30 or $35 back when my now-8-year old was 2 1/2 and I haven't seen it anywhere near that cheap since. He has LOVED it for all these years and so has DS2 and all their friends who come over. We are now converting part of their playroom to a office so I needed to get rid of the trampoline. It was still in great shape so I listed it along with a used play tent tunnel for $40 together. It sold right away and I had about 6-7 emails on it, with some very disappointed that it had already sold.

So you can tell this to your DH when he's struggling to put it together. Because that is definitely the worst part--DH and my brother worked together and it seemed to go better with two strong men working on it. But they still said that it was really hard. But given all the years of fun it can provide and the good CL resale, I'd say that you made a great decision buying it.

Me, too! There are some good deals, but nothing that I really wanted or needed. I may pull the trigger on a few things for the gift closet, but I'm walking away for a bit to think about it.

That's what I did last year, but then when things went back to the original price and I missed out on them, I was kinda kicking myself for not jumping on the deal (the one I really regret missing was the Aquadoodle deal last Dec., all of my girls friends love playing with it, as do my girls, it would have been great for the gift closet!).

Off to wrap Christmas presents, I'll re-evaluate my cart in a bit

No, I'm not going to give you $3 back, I'm going to give you $5 back. Wow, Amazon, you drive a hard bargain!

FWIW I did try to get an adjustment on an item last week (about $60 difference) and was told no, I had to order another one at the lower price and return the more expensive one.

Is there any Alex crafts kits suitable for a 3yr old?

Thanks for this! I'm trying to buy the bracelet kit for my 8yo niece but I'm in an endless loop of "Proceed to Checkout". I've tried on both desktop and iPad to no avail. Maybe I'll try a different browser, though I doubt that will help. Wonder what's up with Amazon?

ETA: Tried a different browser but no success, I think Amazon is having web issues.
