    ?
Princess puzzles (liked a lot but the others were so easy I went up to 75-100 pieces and that frustrated her)

    Misses:
If you ask her - she didn't like the games- Busytown and Cariboo (old version) but I think she'll like both - she just wants to play barbies now!

We are still unpackaging stuff here but so far:

    Hit for both:
Leappad- This is getting lots of play from both kids (especially Pet Pals for DD and the Cars Ebook for DS).

Camelot Jr. - I doubt it would get as much play from DD if it wasn't a castle theme. DS really likes it too (with some help).

Nano bugs. Hula hoops are the perfect habitat for them

    Miss for both:
Custom hula hoops-haven't gotten any play yet
A garbage bag full of clothing from DH's granny-- they spent nearly an hour opening these

    Hits for DD, 5yo

Udraw for Wii- I'm surprised at how cool this is.

Rapunzel Dress from Little Dress Up Shop deal, we are thinking about throwing ALL her other stuff out and getting a couple more of these

    Butterfly in a Jar

Mini Lalaloopsy ("school picture" 8-pack)- they moved into the Plan Toys Chalet, which is FINALLY getting some play after sitting unoccupied for 2.5 years

    Misses for DD:
Lalaloopsy Silly Hair - this thing is SO top heavy that it isn't much fun

    Hits for DS:
Fisher Price Grow-with-me Workshop. I almost groaned out loud when this huge box arrived unexpectedly, but it is actually quite cute and a great size and has some cute project add-ons. DS has been playing with it constantly.

    Backyard Digger

    Miss for DS:
Ace Fenderbender Lalaloopsy- he won't go near it.

Don't know yet but I'm expecting these to be hits:
Learning Resources Pretend and Play school for DD
Wall Coaster marble run for DS

I am back b/c I totally forgot everybody's favorite item, Snowflakes: A Pop-up Book. It is beyond charming. I'm putting it in my cart to buy for gifts next year, I hope the price goes down, but it is worth the cost.

    4 yo boy

    HITS:

Diggin JumpStart Trampoline http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...00_i00_details I ordered this on a whim for $50 and I'm pretty sure it some of the best money I've ever spent. It's great for letting out some pent-up energy in a safe, appropriate way...indoors.

Wii with Kirby's Epic Yarn: The Wii came with Super Mario Bros. but it's too hard for my DS and his Mario keeps "dying". Kirby is great because the characters never die, so he can keep trying until he gets it. It's also very cute and non-violent.
