Default Anyone else excited about Lego Friends??

FINALLY!! A lego theme geared towards girls!

Other than Belville, which is pretty lame, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why Lego did not jump on the princess/fairy bandwagon.

My DD LOVES LOVES legos, but i must admit, its been hard finding sets for her that aren't too boyish....dragons, ninjas, not her thing. City has been decent.

But now...being released Jan 1st....Lego Friends!! Looks adorable. Horray!

That's so cute! I didn't know anything about it.

I'm looking forward to building some stuff with DD that she'll actually be interested in!

DD3 is looking at the LEGO catalogue and circling it right now. She is excited about it because she loves Legos. But honestly, she has collected several Star Wars, Sponge Bob, and Kingdom sets already.

Love it, its super cute. I think DD is a little small this year but I might buy a set or two and put them away for a couple years for her.

I am quite excited and getting some sets for fear they'll be out of stores by the time my child is old enough to enjoy them (though I'm afraid they will be open when she sees them...)

I just glanced at a poster at Walmart and that was the first I have seen...I thought it looked great and imagine it could be very fun at our house!

There were a bunch at my Target. I was planning to pick one up, but I noticed how many there were and concluded that they weren't flying off the shelves. I came home to check and Amazon has them too. The boxes were all smaller than I was expecting, but we don't have alot of (small) Lego yet so my perspective might be skewed.
