What diaper size on babies one year bday? 3 or 4

just curious what size diaper is the "average" for a newly turned one year old. poll coming.

I'm pretty sure DD wore a size 4 but soon afterwards we switched to 5's because she was such a long baby. But then she wore size 5 for almost a year afterwards!

I voted 3, but I think not long afterwards she was in 4s.

I will say that one time DD1 was at My Gym and we forgot the diaper bag and all they had were size 3 diapers and they fit her even though she was in size 5 diapers by then IIRC, and 2/1/2 yrs. old then.

DC just turned 1 and is in size 4.

Laurel was size 4, but I think the other two were size 3. It depends more on how much they pee than how big they are.

We are in a 4 but after we finish up this box I will likely switch to 5's.

My newly 1 year old wears 3's for day and 4's for night. I'm only buying 4's now for my stockpile.

dd is 10 mos (9 mos adjusted) age and has been in 4s for a while now (since she was maybe 6 or 7 mos?) She has thunder thighs though. I think DS went to size 4 before 1 yo. Both my kids are larger than average though (especially in height). DS is now 2 and is still in size 4 (but needs super-absorbent overnite dipe for nighttime)
