    Me too, not because I don't believe you Nicci, it's just I'm completely clueless and don't want to do it wrong. Or if you've done it, can you just tell me what type of container you've used? I've got some white ceramic casserole dishes that are oven safe, I wonder if those would be ok. I'd hate to put them in and have them crack or something because they're sitting on the liner of the crockpot.

    I cook steel cut oats in a bowl in the crock pot. I use a corningware round dish and do a water bath.
