    Default Meal coupon?

We're getting a one meal/ day meal plan, but we can purchase additional meal coupons for $16 per person, good for 1 counter meal. My ? is, how much does a counter meal usually cost? Is $16 a savings?

    TIA

What is included in the meal coupon? Is a drink and dessert included? If yes, would you normally want both a drink and dessert?

go here to see menus and pricing to see what you might spend: http://allears.net/din/dining.htm

If the OP is going to use meal coupons she is going to DisneyLand (not DW) so she would want to see the prices and menus at this link:

Oh sorry I was wondering why I had not heard of them, I figured it was some special with a package or something as she did not specify which park.

I am sorry to OP and PP. I wasn't aware the WDW did meal coupons. Is it only when you travel with a group that is performing there? I have been at WDW with conferences where we get the much reduced rate tickets and reduced hotel rates but have never gotten the meal coupons.

I have no idea. I'm kind of confused. This was just sprung on us last week as an option. $16 a meal doesn't really seem like a deal, though, when I look at the menu prices, especially knowing how little some of my family members eat. I guess it depends what's included. I know it does include a drink and dessert--I'm not sure about a side dish. But as a pp mentioned, would we eat dessert at every meal? Probably not. I wonder if the idea is that the dancers won't always be with their families, and if they have a pre-paid meal ticket, they don't have to carry a lot of cash with them.
