    Default Social Thinking Curriculum

Has anyone used the Social Thinking curriculum with their SN kids? If you have used it, please share your experience with it: did you find it helpful? what age did you start at? how quickly/slowly did your child progress through the materials?

DS has been working through the "You Are A Social Detective" book. He seems to enjoy it, but still has a hard time with some of the concepts. I recently bought "Thinking About You Thinking About Me" and have just started reading it.

I'm really interested in this approach, but I don't know anyone who has actually used it.

DS1 did it at the socials skills group he attended this past summer. I thought it was a fairly good program from looking at the handouts he brought home. He only attended for 3 weeks so he probably didn't do all parts of the program. I just remember they had names for the different characters with their particular problem. My friend's son also used the curriculum in his social group years ago and she also liked it. Sorry I can't give more details about it except all the feedback I've heard about it have been positive.
