    Default Inglesina swift/trip

What are the difference between these two strollers? Also, what are the differences between the 2010, 2011, and 2012 models? I'm looking at a clearance 2010 model, will I be missing any great new features?

SQ's 2012 rollout talks about some of the differences from the 2011 models. I don't remember the details though.

Yeah, SQ seems to know a lot about the different Inglesina umbrellas. I don't know anyone else who does though!

    Ok, I checked the rollout

2012 trip adds bumper bar & same color basket

2012 swift adds pop out visor on the canopy and same color basket

No idea for 2010 vs 2011

I think there is a Baby Gizmo youtube review of the 2011 or 2012 Trip - I can't recall which. Prior to that, I think they added some suspension to the Trip in 2010, maybe. The Trip has a multi-position leg rest, comes with a raincover, is a bit more padded/substantial and I believe it has a slightly deeper recline, although I am not certain. Since it has fewer features, the Swift is somewhat lighter weight than the Trip. I also think the Trip may have bigger wheels. I find both of them to be FAR less tippy than most other umbrella strollers, particularly Maclaren and Uppababy, which for us, made the Trip great for travel. I would guess that the Swift is more like a Triumph, but with better recline and the Trip is more like the Techno, but I am not a Maclaren expert. I have a 2007 Trip that has been our travel workhorse. It is on its last legs due to all the airline handling. My in-laws have an older Triumph (maybe 2004/2005) and I always felt the push was a little better on the Trip, but the Trip is heavier than the Triumph. In looking to replace our aging Trip, I seriously considered a new Trip, but opted for something different just because I could. That said, I was really hard pressed to find something that I liked better particularly since finding something that is not tippy was critical. I did look at a 2011 Trip and Swift and the swift fabrics make it somewhat cheaper feeling, but it is really nice and light, so it depends on your priorities.

swift is like a mac quest.
trip is more like a techno.

i like the trip better as the techno is just a bit bigger.

I had a Trip a few years ago and was quite pleased with it. Good stroller.

I loved my 2006 (I think) Trip. So much better than the Mac Triumph I had before it.
