The slip ons are regular diapers not for kids who are potty training because they stay dry. The pull-ups are for potty training and they get cold when they are wet. I found the slip ons to be more expensive (or rather, they are harder to get on a deal than the pull ups are, maybe because they are new?).

The slip ons also tend to have a shorter rise and sag when wet, causing more poop blowouts. I can't stand them.
