    Default *Updated in 12 and 36* French dip in the crock pot

    I've never made french dips but this recipe looks promising. I'm hungry. I'll let you all know how it turns out.

    That's pretty much what I do. (I do the roast, a can of beef broth, a bottle of beer and an envelope of onion soup mix). It is delicious!

    That's the recipe I use, too (no Worcestershire). It is SO good! I also caramelize some onions for the sandwiches. After I dole out the dipping liquid into bowls, I like to add a bit of Tabasco to it.

    Nope, but I am sure you could add it. I always toast the rolls, makes them better for dipping in the broth, IMO.

    I have seen recipes that call for melting some cheese on top of the beef, I bet that would be a tasty variation.

    OK..waiting on rolls (DH went out to get them). I'm a little nervous as the meat didn't fall apart. Had it on low for about 6 hours. I'll put the onions on when he gets home.
