Enjoy! If you like them them caramelized onions are SO good with it. I used consomme VS the beef broth and Swiss vs provolone. It's just as good the next day. Make sure you cut it into strips and return it to the broth for a little bit before you serve it.

SHOOT!!!!! I just added the onion soup mix and THEN read the ingredients. :/. Mine has MSG in it. Oh well, too late now. I added a little worchestershire and I still have to go find some dark beer, but it's in the crock pot. I can't wait for supper!!!

OMG, it was soooo good! The kids didn't like to dip theirs and ate the meat and bread separately, but DH and I were dipping fools! It's definitely going in the menu rotation. It's the perfect thing to have in the crock pot all day and come home to. I took the meat out of the crock pot after 6 hours on low and sliced it up before it got too tender to slice, so it was perfectly tender and sliced when we we ready to eat. I added a little Worcestershire and served it with sautéed onions and red bell peppers and Provolone. Thanks so much for posting this!

Yaaaa! I am making it this Saturday for our friends when they come for supper. That and my homemade Mac n cheese and a Green salad. What should I make for dessert? I think last time I made an apple crisp...maybe pie?
