Default wrap carrier: moby? baby k'tan or another?

We have pikkolo and love it and also a sling (it's OK), I'm want a wrap style for baby #2 and need some recommendations.

I love moby style stretchy wraps for new babies. However, if this will be a summer baby in a hot climate, I would get a lighter weight wrap. Wrapsody makes one. Cotton gauze is also a nice summer wrap.

I far preferred my Wrapsody stretch wrap to the Moby. It's thinner, more like a comfy t-shirt. The Moby just felt suffocating to me!

we have a k'tan and love it. we really like the idea of a wrap, but just dont like all the wrapping, so the ktan was a really good solution for us.

I loved my sleepywrap. I recommend it to everyone. It's nice and stretchy and sturdy enough for me to feel comfortable carrying DS.

I used the moby from December to April, and then Harper lived in the k'tan. I still keep it in my car even though I haven't used it in months. I live west of fort worth. HTH!

You may also want to consider a cover. I used this one from monkey pockets, and my very fair DS never got burned. I also like ssc with solarveil panels (lets lots of the heat out from the baby, so they keep a little cooler, although having that body pressed up to yours will be warm, no matter what).

If you are ok with wrapping, how about a mei tai? Then they can grow into it.
