    Default Really dumb snugride question

DH just "installed" our DS's old snugride base (from 2008) in our Honda Odyssey in expectation of DD's birth. Last time we used the seat belt install, but this time, we can use LATCH, because we have it on almost all our seats (hurrah!). He refused to tighten the install with LATCH, though, because he said he couldn't figure out how to release the straps so we could get the seat out when we needed to. I looked in the manual, and there's no instruction on how to loosen the LATCH straps. I couldn't find a YouTube video either. I'm really sorry for the dumb question, but HELP!

Actually, before I posted this, I decided I'd try one last Google, and I found this thread:

I assume this will work with my seat, but I'm posting anyway in case someone else has the same silly question!!!

Yup, that'll work, I usually sit/kneel on the base to get a little slack in the LATCH belt, then tip the latchplate up, like an airplane seatbelt, then once the belt is loose, go to reach for the LATCH hook, push the metal tongue flat, turn the hook sideways, and pull it off. Graco needs to really stop it with the cheesy old LATCH hooks, the push on connectors are so much easier to deal with in so many ways....
