Oh geez, what a rotten day. I hope the lab work comes back quickly so you have some answers. I seriously do not think you have PUPPS (cause, you know, I studied medicine on the internet ) since you don't have a rash. Hang in there mama.

The itching is DEFINITELY better last night and today. I didn't take the meds last night but was able to sleep pretty well. (exhausted from all that "resting" at the hospital).
Hope things continue to improve and your test results come back clear!

Update: My midwives and doctors are "discussing" the possibility of whether I actually had pre-eclampsia or if it was indeed cholestasis....apparently my recovery looks more like cholestasis? I guess it doesn't matter at this point but it would be nice to know for sure.
I was diagnosed with PUPPS at 5 weeks. It's been awful. Zyrtec and Benadryl don't help. I have been using tar soap, short lukewarm showers and aloe. It started with a rash on tops of my hands and red blotchy spots on my chest. Then progressed to welts on y inner elbows, behind my knees and on my inner calves. When I get to second trimester they will try presidone. Once the placenta for its a barrier against drugs...
