I think we have a winner for the worst (non) use of a car seat. At some point it seems like it should cross over from a traffic violation to child endangerment. Because what else is that mom doing that the cops didn't see?

She needs her marbles checked. Since when does a can of gas hold priority over a child? Plus, none of them were wearing seat belts, makes me wonder if they ever strap the child into the carseat to begin with.

I'm appalled! Kind of ironic, too considering Colorado has some of the "stricter" carseat laws/recommendations in the country.

Well, obviously, in case they were in an accident she didn't want that gas can flying around the car getting gasoline all over them! No matter that they could have all been thrown from the vehicle anyway...

Since one just does not simply walk into Mordor, I say we form a conga line and dance our way in.
Excuse me, are you in a play?
Lordy. Oh my.
Katie, mama to a pair of boys.
I don't get it, if she was going to use the seat belt, and not the car seat straps, why did she put it in the car seat?! Not that I'd put a gas can on the seat at all, but there's just so many layers of stupid in that picture.
Not to mention the almost-naked toddler.... I can't imagine what other negligent behaviors there are in that home.

The seatbelt wasn't holding the carseat in the car. Obviously, her child's safety isn't a priority.
