Maybe one day when he's getting out of the shower mention that male trimming was brought up on the boards. Then maybe offer to trim him yourself. If you don't have a trimmer you can just use some scissors the first time and if he likes it you can invest in a trimmer (which you can use on yourself as well). Maybe you can trim each other!
