I think something worth noting about Davids Bridal is that they let you take pictures of the bride-to-be in any and all of the dresses that she tries on. Despite the many potential pitfalls with Davids, I recommend to friends that they go their first, try on as many different styles as they can, take pictures, and use all that information to get more direction on what style they really want. From there they can decide to stick with Davids, or go elsewhere. The pictures were a HUGE help to me. I thought I wanted an A-line skirt, which is said to be universally flattering - but while it didn't look bad on me, it didn't do much for me either. I went with a fit & flare instead.
