    Default Renting/buying used?

I posted earlier asking for recommendations for a carrier for Disney World in July. I think we have pretty much decided on a Pikkolo. However, the cost is a little much for us right now (all our $$ going to Neocate formula because DD is milk allergic!) Does anyone has any recommendations for somewhere that we could possibly rent a carrier for our trip, or reputable places to buy one used? Thanks!

No advice on the carrier, but I know several people who had to use hypoallergenic formula and in all the cases their insurance covered the cost. Several didn't know that and at first were buying it out of pocket. I hope you can get your health insurance to cover it.

I know Frog Mama rents carriers, but haven't used them. She posts on DiaperSwappers.

I bought my Ergo & my Toddler Patapum from eBay. Very happy with both.

Be careful with ergo's on eBay. There are a lot of fakes out there.

There's a temp-trade/borrow forum on thebabywearer.com. I've seen people ask to borrow a carrier just for a trip.

Thanks everyone! I ended up ordering a used Pikkolo from Frogmama.

Mommylamb, thanks for the suggestion about insurance. I was just told by the pharmacy that Neocate was not a covered product. I need to take it up with my insurance company, just not looking forward to the fight
