Default What bib for a 9 month old who constantly rips off his bibs!!

    Looking for suggestions.
The current ones with the little velcro square aren't cutting it and now he's recently started ripping off the Baby Bjorn ones.

    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

over the head terry bibs. I got some for DD1 at BRUS. They are kind of hit and miss selection wise because some of them have really dumb sayings. If you are crafty and have a serger you can make your own with cheap towels, but the BRUS ones worked well for us and now DD2 is using them as well at 26 mos. old.

Carter's used to make a set of bibs that were terry cloth with a snap closure (bigger than their little ones with the layette stuff which have velco). Not sure if they still make them, but they might work if they do. I used to get them at the Carter's store.

    JJ Cole bibs have snaps:

My 14 month old has been using one since he started solids.

We also like bibs that tie in the back, like the sleeved bibs we have from Bumkins.

For extra-messy foods, like ice cream cones, I use an old chef's apron.

Ds hated bibs. I just striped his shirt off him at home and on the rare occasion we were at a restaurant with him resigned myself to having a a messy shirt at the end.

I got some similar to these at Target:

They can't pull them off and the bibs are nice and large. Basically size of a dish towel with a hole through it. The only negative might be if your baby has a very large head, these might be tough to get on and off. Also if you don't like characters, well, they all have Elmo on them.

I ordered custom long sleeved terry ones from etsy. Love them.
