    Default Out of sight, out of mind :(

    We recently moved and I have been so disappointed in our "friends" ability to stay in touch. My dc have been sending postcards, asking to call their friends, etc but hardly no one has reached out to them. I understand that everyone is busy but they are missing home so much and it would make them feel so great to hear from people back home. Such a bummer !

    This has been my experience through many moves--even with family. It sucks.

    Yes, it has been my experience that you know your real friends when you move or go through something really traumatic and life changing. We've done both, and our true friends have stuck with us.
