I got pregnant with DS1 at 29 after the first month of trying. I was 31 when I got pregnant with my DD after 2 month of TTC. It took almost 10 years to conceive my DS2. I was 42 when he was born.

DS2 was conceived naturally (without meds). We did do about 3-4 years of fertility "stuff" - Clomid, IUI and I did get pregnant once but miscarried. We quit all fertility treatment about 5 years ago. We saw several specialist who could not find any fertility issues with either myself or DH.

I would love to have one more baby in the next year or so.

I had my first DD at 32, she was conceived 1 month after I stopped taking bc. I then got pregnant at 34, but miscarried and had to have a d&c. From that point on, we were officially trying without much luck- I had another pregnancy at 36 that wasn't viable, then got pregnant at the end of last year and gave birth to DD2 in August at the age of 37.5. I did acupuncture and a couple rounds of clomid to try to get preg between my 2 mcs, but they didn't really do anything to help- we ended up getting pregnant w/o any interventions, but this last pregnancy has definitely been much harder on my body than my first one.

Thank you all so much for your responses. I really appreciate it. My cycle use to be exact and now it is starting to really fluctuate so timing might prove to be much more challenging and also finding the time and energy to get pregnant is a whole other story, lol. Thanks again for sharing your experiences!

After the first 2 months TTC I tracked my temperature. I KNEW I was pregnant almost immediately thanks to that charting. I also used those ovulation pee sticks after the first 2 times (get a box at costco!)

How did you track your temp? Via a website or just by writing it down?

I write it down b/c I have charted for years, but lots of people use fertility friend online and it is free and super easy.

I was 37 when I had DS. It took 6-8 months of trying. What actually worked was going in for a hysterosalpingogram--it's a diagnostic procedure but is actually therapeutic in half the women who undergo the procedure--must clear out any blockages in the tubes!

I got pg a second time when I wasn't trying and miscarried. I gave myself 2 cycles after the d&c for that miscarriage and then, bam, got pg the first month we tried for DD. I was 39 when I got pg and 40 when I delivered.

The hard part is that pg can be harder on your body.
