    Default "Big truck"

DS will soon be 5. He says he wants a "big truck" for his bday, but doesn't have a picture for me to know what he wants. Can anyone recommend a "big truck" for a 5 year old?

How about a Bruder truck? I usually see them at Marshalls/TJ Maxx/Homegoods this time of year.

My guys have gone nuts over the Rescue Heroes and this firetruck. http://www.amazon.com/Fisher-Price-W.../dp/B004FH9FF0 I got rid of a couple of others to make room for this one and they didn't bat an eye at that condition, lol.

I'm thinking the big old school dump trucks that you could actually ride down the driveway in. The metal Tonka ones....do they still make those?

Both my boys like playing with the large Bruder trash truck Boo got for Christmas last year. Punkin still thinks its cool, and he's almost 9.

At 5 yo, definitely Bruder! You can likely find a good deal at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, etc. Make sure all of the pieces are in there though - we got a firetruck without a door from TJ Maxx - oops!

We have 2 different trash trucks, a bulldozer, a crane, a cement mixer and a firetruck - accumulated over 2-ish years for 2 boys, now 4 and 6. They play with them daily and they are a huge hit when friends come over. We don't buy many plastic toys, but these are fantastic.

This is what I was going to suggest. DS got one for his bday and he loves it. I'm not talented enough to link from my phone but we got it from target.com and it's the Tonka big mighty or something like that.
